Matt Humphrey and Mike Dunigan playing in Portland July 29-31

Oregon's two big recruits will be playing in the Nike Global Challenge in Portland on July 29-31, 2007. Both play on Team 2 which plays July 29 at noon and again at 6pm, then on July 30 at 8pm. Sunday's games are exhibitions and Monday's games are part of the actual tournament. The results of Monday's games determined the schedule for Tuesday. So if you're looking for an opportunity to see Humphrey and Dunigan in action this is your best chance until fall of 2008 when they come to U of O. Tickets are just $5.00 for the whole day, after all it is just high school basketball.

Ducks Get Verbal Commitment from Two Tremendous Recruits

It was announced today that the Ducks got verbal commitments from two Chicago area high schoolers. Michael Dunigan is 6'10" center and looks about 250 pounds. The list of teams that offered Dunigan a scholarship is pretty impressive, Florida, Illinois, Wisconsin and more. Matt Humphery's is listed at 6'5" maybe 6'6". Uconn and Notre Dame both offered Humphrey a scholarship. They are AAU teammates and both will be seniors this fall, Dunigan at Chicago Farragut and Humphrey at Chicago Hales Franciscan.

I found some video of both guys. There's nothing really impressive from Dunigan here but it's good to get a look at him. Humphrey's video has some spice to it, I see a little bit of Nick Young in his style.
